Changing Resource Mapping
When a Resource is mapped, all Resources below that layer inherit the same mapping. This provides a powerful and dynamic way to make selections, as newly discovered consumption that falls under an exsiting mapping will be allocated accurately.
Note: Resource mappings are inherited downward through the hierarchy defined in Resource Hierarchy.
Map a lower-level resource
If you want to change the mapping of a Resource that is currently inheriting its mapping from a Resource higher in the hierarchy, you first must clear the assigned mapping. It will then be possible to map the lower-level Resource, as well as any other Resources at this level. You can clear a mapping by clicking the ‘X’ on the Resource it is being inherited from.

Once the Resource mapping has been cleared, you can change the lower level resources as desired. Other Resources at this same level may need to have a mapping assigned as well if they were also inheriting from the one that was cleared.
